Home My Public Portal About10586 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10586 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Middle River des Peres (L-07C1) Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe - Phase II (98049C), in the City of Maplewood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,550,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Middle River des Peres (L-07C1) Lining of Sewers with Cured-in-Place Pipe - Phase II (98049C), in the City of Maplewood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Middle River des Peres (L-07C1) Lining of Sewers with Cured-in- 2 Place Pipe - Phase II (98049C), in the City of Maplewood, Missouri, said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 15, 1999 by the following vote – Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
