HomeMy Public PortalAbout10587 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10587 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Clayton Oaks Sanitary Relief (98035), in the City of Wildwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Fifty- Seven Thousand Eighty and 20/100 Dollars ($57,080.20), and the allowance for construction change orders is Two Thousand Nine Hundred Nineteen and 80/100 Dollars ($2,919.80), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Clayton Oaks Sanitary Relief (98035), in the City of Wildwood, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Clayton Oaks Sanitary Relief (98035), in the City of Wildwood, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 28th day of May, 1999. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 15, 1999 by the following vote – Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
