AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Million
Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,300,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund to be used for additional project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service
Area ORS Skinker-McCausland Tunnel (L-12A, 96007A), in the City of St. Louis and
University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9969, adopted November 14, 1996, provided
the initial funding for said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for additional project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS
Skinker-McCausland Tunnel (L-12A, 96007A), in the City of St. Louis and University
City, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 15, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
