HomeMy Public PortalAbout10594 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10594 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with the United States Army Corps of Engineers whereby the District will
contribute a portion of the costs of a Facilities Planning Study for Western St. Louis
County (99071).
WHEREAS, said study has been undertaken by the United States Army
Corps of Engineers pursuant to Section 22 of the Water Resources Development Act of
1974, as amended by Section 319 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1990, and
WHEREAS, the District has agreed to contribute to the costs of said
study, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood, Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) toward said study,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with the United States Army Corps of Engineers whereby the District will
contribute a portion of the costs of a Facilities Planning Study for Western St. Louis
County (99071).
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance
shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 15, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
Secretary-Treasurer
