HomeMy Public PortalAbout10602 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10602 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Eight Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($2,850,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Southern Arsenal Relief Sewer
Rehabilitation (89190), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Advanced Construction Techniques Ltd. for
the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Two
Million Six Hundred Ninety-eight Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-three Dollars
($2,698,893.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred
Fifty-one Thousand One Hundred Seven Dollars ($151,107.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($2,850,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Southern Arsenal
Relief Sewer Rehabilitation (89190), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.

Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Advanced Construction Techniques Ltd. as the lowest responsible bidder
for the construction of sanitary sewers in Southern Arsenal Relief Sewer Rehabilitation
(89190), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of April, 1999.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 5, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
