HomeMy Public PortalAbout10605 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10605 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($410,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Wismer and Dennison Storm Sewer (94103), in the City of Overland, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mulligan Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Three Hundred Eighty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-eight Dollars ($387,538.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-two Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-two Dollars ($22,462.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($410,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Wismer and Dennison Storm Sewer (94103), in the City of Overland, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mulligan Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Wismer and Dennison Storm Sewer (94103), in the City of Overland, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 6th day of July, 1999. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 5, 1999 by the following vote – Ayes – G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
