AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Hundred
Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($365,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
additional engineering services for the design of the Lemay Service Area Overflow
Regulation System Glaise Creek Relief (L-15, 97057); and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-881 with
CH2MHill for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10179, adopted September 11, 1997, appropriated
the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-881, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars
($365,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional
engineering services for the final design of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation
System Glaise Creek Relief (L-15, 97057).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-881 with CH2MHill for additional
engineering services for the design of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System
Glaise Creek Relief (L-15, 97057); said contract to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, G.J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
