AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars
($98,000.00) from the Improvement Fund for engineering services for the preliminary
design of Market and 20th Street Relief (99093); and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract E-921 with Science Applications International Corp. for
the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($98,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for engineering services for the
preliminary design of Market and 20th Street Relief (99093).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract E-921 with Science Applications International Corp. for engineering services
for the preliminary design of Market and 20th Street Relief (99093); said contract to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 14, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
