AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty-five Thousand
Dollars ($255,000.00) from the Improvement Fund for engineering services for the
preliminary design of Alfred-Eichelberger Combined Sewer Relief (99079); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-924 with Arlou,
Inc./Harza for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Dollars
($255,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for engineering
services for the preliminary design of Alfred-Eichelberger Combined Sewer Relief
(99079).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract E-924 with Arlou, Inc./Harza for engineering services for the preliminary
design of Alfred-Eichelberger Combined Sewer Relief (99079); said contract to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 14, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
