AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Six Million
Dollars ($6,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs to extend the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Skinker-McCausland
Tunnel (L-12A, 96007A), in the City of St. Louis and University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9969, adopted November 14, 1996, provided
the initial funding for said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Million Dollars ($6,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs to
extend the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Skinker-McCausland Tunnel
(L-12A, 96007A), in the City of St. Louis and University City, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 4, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
