AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-two Thousand Six Hundred Thirty
Dollars ($42,630.00) from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of certain real
property in St. Louis County, Missouri, known and numbered as 9701 Dennis Drive, for
flood mitigation purposes; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase said real property.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-two Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars
($42,600.00) is hereby appropriated from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase
of certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri, known and numbered as 9701 Dennis
Drive, for flood mitigation purposes.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase certain real
property in St. Louis County, Missouri, known and numbered as 9701 Dennis Drive, for
flood mitigation purposes, for the total purchase price not to exceed Forty-two Thousand Six
Hundred Thirty Dollars ($42,630.00).
Section Three. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a General
Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real property to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized to pay to the grantor a sum not to exceed Forty-two Thousand Six
Hundred Thirty Dollars ($42,630.00) for said real property.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 4, 1999 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
