HomeMy Public PortalAbout10676 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10676 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Riverview Blvd. and Nassau Dr. Relief Sewer 99087, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.W. Bommarito Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Thirty- one Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-two Dollars ($31,992.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Eight Dollars ($3,008.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The total sum of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Riverview Blvd. and Nassau Dr. Relief Sewer 99087, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.W. Bommarito Construction Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Riverview Blvd. and Nassau Dr. Relief Sewer 99087, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 24th day of November, 1999. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 6, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, C.D. Sewrd, G. J. Sheffield, and P.P. Finn. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
