AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00) from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of certain real
property in St. Louis County, Missouri to be used for construction access and a staging
area as part of Lower Meramec River Wastewater System Improvement Meramec
River WWTP (95066A); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase said real
property.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Real Property Purchase Fund for the purchase of certain
real property in St. Louis County, Missouri to be used for construction access and a
staging area as part of Meramec River WWTP (95066A).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase certain
real property in St. Louis County, Missouri to be used for construction access and a
staging area as part of Lower Meramec River Wastewater System Improvement
Meramec River WWTP (95066A), for the total purchase price of Twenty-five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000.00), said real property being more particularly described as follows:
A tract of land in U.S. Survey 50, Township 43 North, Range 6 East and being described as: Beginning at an old stone at the Southeast corner of East Tenbrook, a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 20, Page 56 of the St.
Louis County Records; thence North 62 degrees 28 minutes East along the prolongation Northwestwardly of the Southeastern line of said subdivision, a distance of 509.33 feet, more or less to the Western line of a tract now or formerly of Eilers; thence North 25 degrees 7 minutes Westwardly along said Western line a distance of 248.50 feet to an iron pipe in the most Eastern corner of the property conveyed to Minnie Koch by deed recorded in Book 3293, Page 23; thence South 70 degrees 2 minutes West along the South line of said Koch property, a distance of 510.40 feet to the Northeast line of property conveyed to Joseph Grimm and wife by deed recorded in Book 3142, Page 43; thence South 24 degrees 59 minutes East along the Northeast line of said Grimm property a distance of 316 feet to the point of beginning. Said property being more commonly known as 7746 Telegraph Road, St. Louis County, Missouri. Locator Number 35K330011. Section Three. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a
General Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real
property to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the grantor Twenty-five Thousand
Dollars ($25,000.00) for said real property.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 6, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, C.D. Sewrd, G. J. Sheffield, and P.P. Finn.
Nays – None.
