HomeMy Public PortalAbout10685 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10685 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-two Thousand Dollars ($82,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in DC-04 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase II (92122) in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Seventy-four Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-six Dollars ($74,356.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Seven Thousand Six Hundred Forty-four Dollars ($7,644.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eighty-two Thousand Dollars ($82,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in DC-04 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase II (92122), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in DC-04 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase II (92122), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 14th day of December, 1999. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – C. L. Barnhart, G. J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None.
