HomeMy Public PortalAbout10687 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10687 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for a 201 Facilities study in the area in St. Louis County west of Highway 109, including all the area outside of the current District boundary, to wit: the Bonhomme, Wildhorse, Augusta Tavern, Hamilton & Carr, Fox, Forby, and Flat Creek watersheds, to provide the District with a comprehensive sanitary master facilities plan; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with the United States Army Corps of Engineers for said study. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for a 201 Facilities study in the area of St. Louis County west of Highway 109, including all the area outside of the current District boundary, to wit: the Bonhomme, Wildhorse, August Tavern, Hamilton & Carr, Fox, Forby, and Flat Creek watersheds, to provide the District with a comprehensive sanitary master facilities plan. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with the United States Army Corps of Engineers whereby the United States Army Corps of Engineers will conduct a 201 Facilities study in the area of St. Louis County west of Highway 109, including all the area outside of the current District boundary, to wit: the Bonhomme, Wildhorse, August Tavern, Hamilton & Carr, Fox, Forby, and Flat Creek watersheds, to provide the District with a comprehensive sanitary master facilities plan. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – C. L. Barnhart, G. J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None.
