AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Forty-five Thousand
Dollars ($145,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for
the final design of South County Pump Station P-414 Union & Lindbergh and Colonial
Woods Pump Station P-410 (99212); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract E-934 with EDM Incorporated for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars
($145,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
engineering services for the final design of South County Pump Station P-414 Union &
Lindbergh and Colonial Woods Pump Station P-410 (99212).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract E-934 with EDM Incorporated for engineering services for the final design of
South County Pump Station P-414 Union & Lindbergh and Colonial Woods Pump
Station P-410 (99212); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – C. L. Barnhart, G. J. Sheffield, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
