HomeMy Public PortalAbout10707 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10707 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($135,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-01& PB-02 Frederick Ln. to Nancy Carol Ln. Sanitary Relief (90069), in the City of Glendale, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is One Hundred Twenty Thousand Seventy-six and 50/100 Dollars ($120,076.50), and the allowance for construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty- three and 50/100 Dollars ($14,923.50), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The total sum of One Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($135,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-01 & PB-02 Frederick Ln. to Nancy Carol Ln. Sanitary Relief (90069), in the City of Glendale, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in PB-01 & PB-02 Frederick Ln. to Nancy Carol Ln. Sanitary Relief (90069), in the City of Glendale, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of January, 2000. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 24, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
