AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-four Thousand Dollars
($44,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Blackjack-Dellwood for engineering services for the final design of
Edgefield-Monarch Channel Improvement (MCBJ-260)(99109); and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-942 with Farnsworth & Wylie, Inc.
for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-four Thousand Dollars ($44,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Blackjack-Dellwood for engineering services for the final
design of Edgefield-Monarch Channel Improvement (MCBJ-260)(99109).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract E-942 with Farnsworth & Wylie, Inc. for engineering services for the
final design of Edgefield-Monarch Channel Improvement (MCBJ-260)(99109); said
contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 24, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
