AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Million Seven Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($5,750,00.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering
services for the final design of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater System
Improvements, Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066A), and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-897 with CH2M Hill for
the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT;
Section One. The sum of Five Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($5,750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
for engineering services for the final design of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater
System Improvements, Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066A).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-897 with CH2M Hill for engineering services for the
final design of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater System Improvements, Meramec
Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066A); said contract amendment to be comprised of
such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
