AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($75,000.00) from the General Fund of the District for geotechnical services
including soil borings, laboratory analysis and other geotechnical services; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into
Amendment No. 4 of Contract E-803 with Geotechnology, Inc. for the aforesaid
geotechnical services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District for geotechnical
services including soil borings, laboratory analysis and general geotechnical
services.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized to enter into Amendment No. 4 of Contract E-804 with
Geotechnology, Inc. for geotechnical services including soil borings, laboratory
analysis and other geotechnical services; said amendment to be comprised of such
terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
