AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Forty-five Thousand
Dollars ($245,000.00) from the Capital Improvement Trust Fund for services for
the rehabilitation of floodwall pumps in the Bissell Overflow Regulation System,
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into contracts with the respective
individual pump manufacturers for the aforesaid rehabilitation services.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars
($245,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Capital Improvement Trust Fund
for the rehabilitation of floodwall pumps in the Bissell Overflow Regulation
System.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into contracts with the respective individual pump manufacturers for the
rehabilitation of floodwall pumps in the Bissell Overflow Regulation System.
Section Three. The contracts authorized in Section Two of this
ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.L. Barnhart, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and M.C.
Williams.
Nays – None.
