AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($650,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used
for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Service Area Overflow
Regulation System (ORS) Miscellaneous Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-015J) Mill Creek
Sewer Diversion (94090J), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with KCI Construction Company, Inc.
for the construction of the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is Six Hundred One
Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($601,850.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Forty-eight Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars
($48,150.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($650,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement
Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point
Service Area Overflow Regulation System (ORS) Miscellaneous Sewer
Rehabilitation (BP-015J) Mill Creek Sewer Diversion (94090J), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with KCI Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the
Bissell Point Service Area Overflow Regulation System (ORS) Miscellaneous Sewer
Rehabilitation (BP-015J) Mill Creek Sewer Diversion (94090J), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 11, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, M.C.
Williams.
