HomeMy Public PortalAbout10800 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10800 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Mark Twain and Florissant Park Sanitary Relief (97017), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Nine Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-seven Dollars ($978,557.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Twenty One Thousand Four Hundred Forty-three Dollars ($121,443.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million One Hundred Dollars ($1,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Mark Twain and Florissant Park Sanitary Relief (97017), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Mark Twain and Florissant Park Sanitary Relief (97017), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of May, 2000. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 20, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, P.P. Finn, C.D. Seward, J.W. Siscel, M.G. Reichert, and M.C. Williams. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
