AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Ninety Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($990,500.00) from the General Fund of the District, for software
and support services to replace the District=s mainframe financial and payroll
systems; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
American Management, Inc. for the aforesaid software and support services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Ninety Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($990,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of
the District for software and support services to replace the District=s mainframe
financial and payroll systems.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with American Management, Inc. for software and support services
to replace the District=s mainframe financial and payroll systems.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, J.W. Siscel, and M.C. Williams.
Nays – None.
