HomeMy Public PortalAbout10810 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10810 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($985,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Upper Grand Glaize Sanitary Relief Phase II (90079B), in the City of Ballwin, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Eight Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($894,254.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Ninety Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-six Dollars ($90,746.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($985,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Upper Grand Glaize Sanitary Relief Phase II (90079B), in the City of Ballwin, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Upper Grand Glaize Sanitary Relief Phase II (90079B), in the City of Ballwin, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 27th day of July, 2000. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, and P.P. Finn. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
