HomeMy Public PortalAbout10811 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10811 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($525,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Treatment Plant Process Water Line (99096), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Condaire, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid water line. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said water line is Four Hundred Eighty-two Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($482,960.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Forty-two Thousand Forty Dollars ($42,040.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($525,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Treatment Plant Process Water Line (99096), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Condaire, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Lemay Treatment Plant Process Water Line (99096), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8th day of August, 2000. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, and P.P. Finn. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
