AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Seventeen Thousand
Dollars ($417,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering
services for the design and construction phase services for the Lemay Service
Area Overflow Regulation System Gate Modifications (93039), and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into Amendment No.
10 to Contract E-778 with Black & Veatch Corp. for said engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8926, adopted March 10, 1993, provided
the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-778, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Seventeen Thousand
Dollars ($417,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for engineering services for the design and construction phase services
for the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Gate Modifications
(93039).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized to enter into Amendment No. 10 to Contract E-778 with
Black & Veatch Corp. for engineering services for the design and construction

phase services for the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Gate
Modifications.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effective immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 2000 by the following vote
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, and P.P. Finn.
Nays – None.
