AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Seven Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($1,750,000.00) from the Caulks Creek Construction Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure
Repair #087P Caulks Creek "A" (P-750) Phase IIA (98081A), in the Cities of
Clarkson Valley and Wildwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the aforesaid
construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary
sewers is One Million Five Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Fifty-three Dollars
($1,588,053.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is One
Hundred Sixty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-seven Dollars ($161,947.00),
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($1,750,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Caulks Creek

Construction Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary
sewers in Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek "A" (P-750) Phase IIA
(98081A), in the Cities of Clarkson Valley and Wildwood, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure Repair #087P
Caulks Creek "A" (P-750) Phase IIA (98081A), in the Cities of Clarkson Valley and
Wildwood, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 22nd day of August, 2000.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
