AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase and
demolish certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri, known and numbered as
10070 Balboa for flood mitigation purposes.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase and
demolish certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri, known and numbered as
10070 Balboa for flood mitigation purposes, for the total purchase price not to exceed
Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00).
Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a General
Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real property to
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the respective grantors a total sum not to
exceed Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00) for said real property.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
