AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars
($105,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for archaeological services for the
Phase I Archaeological Cultural Resource Survey for the Lower Meramec River
Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066C); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-938 with Archaeological Research Center of St. Louis,
Inc. for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars
($105,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
archaeological services for the Phase I Archaeological Cultural Resource Survey for the
Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066C).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-938 with Archaeological Research Center of St. Louis,
Inc. for archaeological for services for the Phase I Archaeological Cultural Resource
Survey for the Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066C); said
amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W.Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, and
J.W. Siscel.
