AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($260,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Paddock Creek-Lindbergh Storm Channel Phase III (99049), in the City
of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Two
Hundred thirty-two Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-six Dollars ($232,976.00),
and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-seven Thousand
Twenty-four Dollars ($27,024.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($260,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Paddock Creek-Lindbergh Storm Channel
Phase III (99049), in the City of Florissant, Missouri
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Paddock Creek-Lindbergh Storm Channel Phase
III (99049), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 17th day of October, 2000.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 2000 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, and P.P. Finn.
Nays – None.
