HomeMy Public PortalAbout10846 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10846 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($56,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lynn Haven to be used for the repair of storm sewers in Lynn Haven-Lamplight Channel Repairs (Infrastructure Repair)(2000068), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Superior Waterproofing & Restoration Co., Inc. for said repair. WHEREAS, the bid for the repair of said storm sewers is Fifty-one Thousand Three Hundred Forty-nine and 05/100 Dollars ($51,349.05), and the allowance for construction change orders is Five Thousand One Hundred Fifty and 95/100 dollars ($5,150.95), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Fifty-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($56,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lynn Haven to be used for the repair of storm sewers in Lynn Haven-Lamplight Channel Repairs (Infrastructure Repair)(2000068), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Superior Waterproofing & Restoration Co., Inc. for the repair of storm sewers in Lynn Haven-Lamplight Channel Repairs (Infrastructure Repair)(2000068), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of October, 2000. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 2000 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, and P.P. Finn. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
