O R D I N A N C E NO. 10894
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Four Hundred Fifteen
Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-four Dollars ($3,415,774.00) from the General
Fund of the District, for hardware, software and support services to replace the
District=s mainframe billing system; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
a contract with Systems & Computer Technology Corporation (SCT) for the aforesaid
software and support services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million Four Hundred Fifteen Thousand
Seven Hundred Seventy-four Dollars ($3,415,744.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District for hardware, software and support services to replace the
District=s mainframe billing system.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Systems & Computer Technology Corporation (SCT) for software and
support services to replace the District=s mainframe billing system.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 2001 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, C.D. Seward, P.P. Finn, and
J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
