HomeMy Public PortalAbout10902 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10902 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,650,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a storm channel and sanitary sewers in Breckenridge to Baltimore Storm Channel (96044), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid project. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm channel and sanitary sewers is Two Million Three Hundred Eighty-four Thousand One Hundred Three Dollars ($2,384,103.00) and the allowance for construction change orders is Two Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-seven Dollars ($265,897.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,650,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a storm channel and sanitary sewers in Breckenridge to Baltimore Storm Channel (96044), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a storm channel and sanitary sewers in Breckenridge to Baltimore Storm Channel (96044), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 11th day of December, 2000. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 8, 2001 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, P.P. Finn, and J.W. Siscel. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
