HomeMy Public PortalAbout10909 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10909 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 10682, as adopted January 6, 2000, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof, providing that any funds owed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to any person or entity for any reason, including, but not limited to, a blocked main sewer line or an overcharged main sewer line may be used by the District as a set-off against any funds owed by said person or entity to the District for unpaid sewer service charges delinquent more than six (6) months. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 10682, as adopted January 6, 2000, is hereby repealed. Section Two. Any funds owed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to any person or entity for any reason, including, but not limited to, a blocked main sewer line or an overcharged main sewer line may be used by the District as a set-off against any funds owed by said person or entity to the District for unpaid sewer service charges delinquent more than six (6) months. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 8, 2001 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, P.P. Finn, and J.W. Siscel. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
