HomeMy Public PortalAbout10914 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10914 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Clayton Central to pay the District's share to St. Louis County for the costs of construction, relocation and upgrade of a sanitary sewer in the City of Clayton, Missouri in order to correct deficiencies within the existing sanitary sewer system. WHEREAS, St. Louis County has undertaken the construction of a parking garage in the area of north of Shaw Park Drive between Meramec Avenue and Central Avenue, and WHEREAS, the existing sanitary sewer system in the north/south alley, north of Shaw Park Drive between Meramec Avenue and Central Avenue is deficient, and the District has agreed to pay St. Louis County for a portion of the costs of the construction, relocation and upgrade of said sanitary sewer, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Clayton Central to pay the District's share to St. Louis County for the costs of construction, relocation and upgrade of a sanitary sewer in the City of Clayton, Missouri in order to correct deficiencies within the existing sanitary sewer system. Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 8, 2001 by the following vote – Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, M.C. Williams, P.P. Finn, J.W. Siscel, and C.D. Seward. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
