AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a Design Agreement, and any other documents
related thereto, with the Cities of Brentwood, Rock Hill, Webster Groves,
Maplewood, and the Department of the Army, whereby the Cities of
Brentwood, Rock Hill, Webster Groves, Maplewood, and the District will
participate in the Deer Creek Flood Control Project.
WHEREAS, the Department of the Army will undertake the
design of the Deer Creek Flood Control Project, and
WHEREAS, the Department of the Army has requested that
the Cities of Brentwood, Rock Hill, Webster Groves, Maplewood, and the
District participate in said project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a Design Agreement, and
any other documents related thereto, with the Cities of Brentwood, Rock
Hill, Webster Groves, Maplewood, and the Department of the Army,
whereby the Cities of Brentwood, Rock Hill, Webster Groves, Maplewood,
and the District will participate in the Deer Creek Flood Control Project.
Section Two. The Design Agreement, and any other
documents related thereto, as authorized in Section One of this
ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 12, 2001 2001 by the
following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, J.W. Siscel, C.D. Seward, and A.J.
Soukenik.
Nays – None.
