HomeMy Public PortalAbout12490OR D I N A N C E NO. 12490 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to reimburse the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for sewer relocation and betterments during the design and construction of improvements to Route I-64 from west of Spoede Road in St. Louis County to Sarah Street in St. Louis City in I-64/40 Reconstruction Betterments Allowance (2007170). WHEREAS, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has undertaken the construction of improvements on Route I-64, and WHEREAS, the District is willing to reimburse the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for the costs of sewer relocation and betterments associated with said construction, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12324, adopted October 12, 2006, authorized an agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission whereby the District will reimburse the Commission for said sewer relocation and betterments cost, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT Section One. The sum of Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to reimburse the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for sewer relocation and betterments during the design and construction of improvements to Route I-64 from west of Spoede Road in St. Louis County to Sarah Street in St. Louis City in I-64/40 Reconstruction Betterments Allowance (2007170). Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 9, 2007.
