($49,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in 61
Conway Close Storm Sewer (2006193), in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with RST Contracting
LLC for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Forty-
four Thousand Forty-five Dollars ($44,045.00), and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Four Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-
nine Dollars ($4,959.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-nine Thousand Dollars ($49,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in 61 Conway Close Storm Sewer (2006193), in the City of Ladue,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with RST Contracting, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in 61 Conway Close Storm Sewer (2006193), in the
City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of
August, 2007.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 11, 2007.
