HomeMy Public PortalAbout12523O R D I N A N C E NO. 12523 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Kirkwood Road - Commerce - Reardon (GCKC-140) Phase II (94025), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mulligan Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Nine Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-six Dollars ($996,886.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Three Thousand One Hundred Fourteen Dollars ($103,114.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Kirkwood Road - Commerce - Reardon (GCKC- 140) Phase II (94025), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mulligan Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Kirkwood Road - Commerce - Reardon (GCKC- 140) Phase II (94025), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 29th day of August 2007. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 11, 2007.
