($700,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency sewer repairs in Emergency
Repair #042 – 1106 S. Florissant Road (2007249A) in the City of Ferguson,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Karsten
Equipment Company for the aforesaid emergency repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars
($700,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for emergency
sewer repairs in Emergency Repair #042 – 1106 S. Florissant Road (2007249A) in
the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Karsten Equipment Company for emergency sewer repairs in
Emergency Repair #042 – 1106 S. Florissant Road (2007249A) in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 2007.
