HomeMy Public PortalAbout12580O R I N A N C E NO. 12580 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Design Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to reimburse the City of Cool Valley, Missouri for the costs of design of stormwater improvements as undertaken by said City in Emerling - Evans Drainage Improvements (2007166); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with the City of Cool Valley, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse said City for the design of said stormwater improvements. WHEREAS, the City of Cool Valley, Missouri has undertaken the design of said stormwater improvements, and WHEREAS, the District is willing to reimburse the City of Cool Valley, Missouri for the costs of said stormwater improvements, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One The sum of Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, and Design Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to reimburse the City of Cool Valley, Missouri for the costs of design of stormwater improvements as undertaken by said City in Emerling - Evans Drainage Improvements (2007166). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with the City of Cool Valley, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse said City for the cost of design of stormwater improvements as undertaken by said City in Emerling - Evans Drainage Improvements (2007166); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 10, 2008.
