AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , VACATING PUBLIC ALLEYWAYS NEAR
MEADOWS PLACE, 1805 SEVEN HILLS ROAD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson , Missouri , hereby declares it necessary ,
reasonable and proper to discontinue and forever vacate the following public alley ways, finding the
following described r ights-of-way surplus property of the City and no longer needed for any public
purpose :

Section 2. The rights-of-way described in Section 1 are hereby re linquished , and the City does
hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in th e properties . The statutory rights of reversion
for the owners of the abutting properties are hereby confirmed , as is provided by the laws of the State of
Missouri.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute any necessary
legal documents required to confirm the rel inquish ing all of the C ity's intere st in the tracts described in
Section 1, and confirming the reversionary rights of the owners of the properties abutting the areas be i ng
vacated as described in Section 1.
Section 4 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage
and approval.
