Storm Sewer (11573)ORDINANCE NO. 15364 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($425,000.00) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for storm sewer construction in Sappington Rd. and Sapphire Ridge Ct. Storm Sewer (11573) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21865 with Unnerstall Contracting Co. LLC for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Three Hundred Eighty- Six Thousand Two Hundred Sixty -Two Dollars ($386,262.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Eight Dollars ($38,738.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above -named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($425,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for storm sewer construction in Sappington Rd. a nd Sapphire Ridge Ct. Storm Sewer (11573) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21865 with Unnerstall Contracting Co. LLC , as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Sappington Rd. and Sapphire Ridge Ct. Storm Sewer (11573) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 7th day of January, 2020. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 16, 2020.
