WHEREAS, Annette Mandel served on the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District from April 13, 2012 to March 15, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Trustee Mandel's strong leadership, knowledge and expertise
imparted direction and stability to the District; and
WHEREAS, Trustee Mandel's contribution serving on the Stakeholder Relations ,
Program Management and Audit Committees, as Vice -Chairman and Chairman respectively, and
as the Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, assured a continued diligent focus
on the District’s fiscal matters; and
WHEREAS, Trustee Mandel's contributions to the St. Louis Community reach far
beyond her service on the District's Board. Trustee Mandel is a former Mayor of Creve Coeur
and is currently an attorney with the practice of Mandel & Mandel. She is a graduate of Knox
College and Washington University School of Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT; THAT, this Board on behalf of itself,
the District and the people it serves, herewith expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to
Trustee Mandel for her service on the Board of Trustees and for her many contributions to the
St. Louis Community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, THAT, a copy of this Resolution be presented to
Trustee Mandel in recognition of her service and accomplishment.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on March 16, 2020.
