(Establishment of Mall #1C)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ESTABLISHING A
PEDESTRIAN MALL PURSUANT TO THE PEDES-
TRIAN MALL ACT OF 1960, DIVISION 13 OF
THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City does here -
by establish Pedestrian Mall #1C, as follows:
a) The general description of the streets, or portions
thereof,which are hereby established as such
pedestrian mall is as follows:
The First Alley South of Las Tunas Drive (formerly
San Gabriel Avenue) adjacent on the south to Lots
573 to 579 inclusive of Tract No. 6561 in the City
of Temple City, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as shown on map recorded in Book 72,
pages 34 and. 35 of Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County extending from the center
line of the First Alley east of Temple City Blvd.
(formerly Sunset Boulevard) as shown on said map,
on the east and said Temple City Boulevard on the
west.
b) A general description of the mall intersections is
as follows:
The intersection of the First Alley South of Las
Tunas Drive (formerly San Gabriel Avenue) as shown
on map of Tract No. 6561 in the City of Temple City,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, recorded
in Book 72, pages 34 and 35 of Maps in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County and the First
Alley west of Camellia Avenue (formerly Temple
Avenue) as shown on said map.
c) A general description of the intersecting streets is
as follows:
Temple City Boulevard (formerly Sunset Avenue) in
the City of Temple City, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as shown on map of Tract No.
6561 recorded in Book 72, pages 34 and 35 of Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said
County.
First Alley east of sai,d:Temple City Boulevard as
shown on the aforementioned map.
d) .Effective June 1, 1967, all vehicular traffic on
such pedestrian mall, except for parking purposes
as an adjunct to previously acquired vehicle park-
ing district facilities, is hereby prohibited.

SECTION 2, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Temple
City Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published,
and circulated in the City of Temple City.'
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of March , 1967,

I, KARL L. KOSKI, City Clerk of the City of Temple City, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No.
67-223, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Temple City, held on the 7th day of March , 1967,
and was duly passed, approved and signed by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 21st day of March , 1967, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen- Beckley, Briggs, Harker, Merritt, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmen- None
