Mr. Smith was out of town but Mr. Brown and I investigated
all places that made complaints. We made changes where we found
complaints were justified and entitled to relief.
It is not the purpose of this Committee nor of Council to
work hardships on any business that may suffer from the effects
of the parking Meters and where we find complaints are justified,
favorable action will be taken.
In view of these changes already made and some which may
be made in the future, we recommend that the present meters re-
main as they are and where they now exist.
Respectfully submitted,
Alex Meddin, Chairman
Jimmie Brown
petition of Mr. B. Taylor Smith, president of the Savannah

passed.
