ORDINANCE NO. -Z--
AN ORDIrMNCE AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BY THE CITY OF BEL-AIRE AND
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SEDGWICK COUNTY, KANSAS TO
AUTHORIZE SEDGWICK COUNTY TO ENGAGE IN ACTS AND EXERCISE AUTHORITY
AND POTr7ERS CONFERRED BY THE "LOCAL RESIDENTIAL HOUSING FINANCE LAH",
KSA 12-5201 et. seq. (1980 Supp) WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
BEL-AIRE, KANSAS, AUTHORIZING THE HAYOR TO SIGN SAID AGREEHENT AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO DELIVER SAID AGREEMENT
Be it Ord~ined by the Governing Body of the City of Bel-Aire:
Section 1. The City of Bel-Aire wishes to cooperate with the
Board of County Commissioners of Sedgwick County, Kansas and is
~,Jilling to authorize SedgvJick County to engage in acts and exercise
the authority and powers conferred by the "Local Residential Housing
Financing LaH", KSA 12-5201 et. seq. with respect to any property
located within the Corporate boundaries of the City of Bel-Aire,
Kansas, and hereby authorizing such an agreement to be entered into
on behalf of Bel-Aire, Kansas, with the Board of County Commissioners
of Sedgwick County, Kansas, pursuant to KSA 12-5213 (1980 Supp.)
Section 2. The Mayor of Bel-Aire is hereby authorized to execute
such an agreement on behalf of Bel-Aire, Kansas.
Section 3. The City Clerk of Bel-Aire is hereby directed to
attest to such agreement after being executed by the Mayor and cause
the same to be delivered to the Board of County Commissioners of
Sedgwick County, Kansas.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Bel-Aire on the
74 day of March, 1981.
