CORRECTING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT - GENOVA BURNS
& VERNOIA
WHEREAS, on March 21, 2002, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret approved Resolution No. 02-116, authorizing a professional services
contract with the law firm of Genova Bums & Vemoia; and
WHEREAS, said resolution inadvertently set thc maximum hourly rate for said
services at $125.00; and
WHEREAS, the correct hourly rate charged by this law firm to serve as special
labor counsel should have been set at S150.00 per hour as has been approved in
the past.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of'the
Borough of Carteret that Resolution No. 02-I 16 be corrected to set the hourly rate
at $150.00 for the law firm of Genova Bums & Vemoia to serve as special labor
counsel, as directed by the Borough Attorney.
