Dear Mr. Giles,
I'm writing on behalf (and as a surprise) of Christopher McCall. He's
recently discovered that McCall, Idaho was settled by Thomas McCall,
Christopher's uncle. We live in California, and I am secretly planning a
visit to McCall. Christopher has been researching and is anxious to get
there in person soon. He would be the first of the most recent generation to
visit. I need some help and I'm hoping you are the person to connect with.
The internet shares much, but being there, in its beauty, imagining what
Tom and Louisa thought, felt and found is so much more of the allure. We
have friends who have been, unknowing they were visiting land that was
McCall land. It's time for Christopher to go. What time of the year do you
recommend? We would want to explore, hike, and travel the land
naturally. Obviously that pristine lake I see in pictures will be a place to
enjoy!
I'm writing to inquire if there are unique and historical accommodations in
the city you recommend. Also, are their available preserved family land or
buildings he would be invited to visit? Have you any residents who are
McCall descendants? Can you inquire if they would be interested in
contact?
Anything you can offer would be dear to me, and ultimately dear to him as
well.
